Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal practice in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin, seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital treats a wide range of species including dogs, cats, avians, and pocket pets. This role is ideal for veterinarians who prefer appointments and exams over surgery, offering the opportunity to practice comprehensive, high-quality medicine in a supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday. The clinic is closed on Sundays. The position is full-time and allows flexibility for work-life balance, with mentorship available for new graduates or tailored guidance for experienced veterinarians.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will build lasting relationships with clients and their pets while leading patient care with autonomy. Clinical responsibilities include wellness, preventive care, dentistry, dermatology, laser therapy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and advanced in-house diagnostics. Surgery is available but optional, making this role suited to those who prefer exam-focused medicine. The position welcomes both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The practice is AAHA-accredited, reflecting its commitment to advanced protocols and excellent patient care. The hospital is equipped with modern surgical suites, anesthetic ventilators, dental facilities, ultrasound, laser therapy, and advanced in-house diagnostics. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter, soft tissue surgery, dental care, dermatology, euthanasia, acupuncture, herbal medicine, microchipping, and shockwave therapy. The practice emphasizes compassionate care, client education, and a high standard of veterinary medicine.

Team
The hospital has seven DVMs supported by experienced technical staff, offering a high technician-to-doctor ratio. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on professional growth, with an emphasis on mentorship and maintaining a positive hospital culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
