Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing professional and caring veterinary services and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This full-service clinic delivers medical, surgical, and dental care to dogs, cats, and pocket pets, with a strong emphasis on compassionate care and client education.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules, with weekend coverage required on Saturdays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will focus on delivering high-quality patient care while building strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities include treating each patient individually to minimize stress and discomfort, staying up to date with advancements in veterinary medicine, and collaborating closely with the team to ensure the best outcomes. The role also involves supporting the development of the wider team, maintaining excellent communication, and providing compassionate, individualized care to every patient. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Services offered include wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, in-house diagnostics, parasite prevention, microchipping, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, and an on-premises pharmacy. Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
