Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian. The clinic sees cats and dogs as standard, with one doctor currently seeing exotics and scope to expand these services. The position is open on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of emergency veterinary responsibilities, managing a diverse caseload and providing urgent and critical care to patients. The hospital is open to discussing doctor hours, offering flexibility to suit individual preferences. The position is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, providing an opportunity to develop skills within a supportive emergency setting.

Practice Details
The hospital operates 24/7 and is well-equipped to support a wide range of emergency, surgical, and specialist veterinary services. It offers comprehensive care across multiple disciplines, ensuring high-quality treatment for patients presenting with urgent and complex conditions.

Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by well-trained staff. The environment is collaborative, with experienced professionals who are passionate about mentorship and fostering growth.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
