Introduction
Our client is a modern small animal hospital in Eastern North Carolina seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis. Established in 2013, the appointment-based clinic provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats, combining advanced technology with a supportive environment and an experienced team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care across a varied small animal caseload. Surgical procedures include spaying, castrating, tail docking, dew claw removal, feline declawing of the front feet, limited orthopedic surgery, entropion surgery, eye enucleation, hernia repair, dental extractions, gastropexy, and mass removal. The hospital also provides Class IV laser therapy as a non-invasive, drug-free and surgery-free treatment designed to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, accelerate recovery, and improve function and mobility in patients with acute and chronic conditions. The position is for an experienced veterinarian and is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with no weekend obligations.

Practice Details
The hospital is an appointment-based clinic equipped with digital radiology, Toshiba ultrasound, in-house IDEXX diagnostics, Companion laser therapy, Cornerstone paperless medical records, three anesthesia machines, three wet-dry tables, and two surgery tables. The facility includes five exam rooms, a full-service surgical suite, and boarding facilities, with after-hours emergencies handled by local emergency hospitals. The practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care alongside laser therapy, with a focus on combining advanced treatment with compassionate patient care. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The hospital has 6 DVMs alongside a great tenured support team and operates with a 3:1 technician-to-doctor ratio. The experienced team provides doctors with the support needed to deliver excellent patient care within a welcoming and professional environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
