Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for small animals. The practice is an AAHA-accredited hospital with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary medicine and urgent care services, offering an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates to develop and thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. General hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Urgent care hours are Monday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including medical and surgical treatment, diagnostics, and urgent care services. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing procedures such as soft tissue surgeries, and advising clients on preventative care and overall pet health. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with the wider team to deliver high standards of patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility focused on delivering high-quality small animal care with an emphasis on diagnostic accuracy and comprehensive treatment planning. Equipment and services include in-house laboratory capabilities, dental care, microchipping, patient monitoring, orthopedic procedures including MMP surgery, and soft tissue surgery such as mass removals. The practice offers a wide range of services including urgent care, vaccinations, wellness programs, puppy care, surgical procedures, and orthopedic care.

Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment with strong access to mentorship and professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
