Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic is dedicated to delivering high-quality veterinary care and is equipped to treat a wide range of cases across small animal medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This is a full time position that offers full-time benefits for part-time hours.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Duties include examining animals to assess their health and diagnose problems, treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, and operating medical equipment such as x-ray machines. The veterinarian will also advise pet owners on general care and treatment, prescribe medication, and collaborate closely with team members to provide high-quality care.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a range of services including dental care, emergency services, pain management, surgical services, internal medicine, and wellness. Pet boarding is also available on site.

Team
The current team includes three DVMs and a strong support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
