Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats, dogs, and exotics and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers the opportunity to practise high-quality medicine in a modern hospital focused on exceptional patient care, strong client relationships, and continuous professional growth. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for cats, dogs, and exotics while managing a diverse caseload. Responsibilities include performing routine surgeries, wellness examinations, diagnostics, client education, and preventative healthcare, while building trusted relationships with pet owners through compassionate communication. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with experienced veterinarians and hospital leadership, maintain accurate medical records, and contribute to a supportive team environment focused on delivering exceptional veterinary care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This modern hospital provides a comprehensive range of veterinary services for cats, dogs, and exotics. Services include primary care, wellness examinations, vaccinations, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, behavioural consultations, dermatology, diagnostics, oncology diagnostics, oral health, prescription management, nutritional counselling, surgery, spaying and neutering, euthanasia, microchipping, travel documentation, and exotic animal care. The practice offers a varied caseload in a collaborative environment that supports high-quality medicine and continued clinical development. The hospital operates Monday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on alternating weeks, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on alternating weeks. The hospital is closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Associate Veterinarian will work alongside experienced doctors and supportive hospital leaders in a collaborative environment that prioritises teamwork, professional development, and exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
