Our client is a hospital providing care for cats, dogs, and exotics and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers the opportunity to work in a modern, compassionate environment focused on building lasting relationships with clients and delivering high-quality veterinary care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for cats, dogs, and exotics while practising evidence-based medicine with integrity and compassion. Responsibilities include performing medical and surgical procedures, educating clients, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and client service representatives to deliver exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will build trusting relationships with clients through clear communication while continuing to develop their clinical skills within a supportive team environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This modern veterinary hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services for cats, dogs, and exotics, including pocket pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, and bearded dragons. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory services, an in-house pharmacy, and advanced surgical equipment. Additional diagnostic capabilities include echocardiography and ultrasound performed by two board-certified travelling veterinarians. Services include wellness and preventative care, dentistry, dermatology, surgical services including routine and soft tissue procedures, radiographic imaging, laboratory diagnostics, pharmacy services, pet travel certificates through APHIS-accredited veterinarians, wellness plans, and exotic pet care. The practice is committed to delivering innovative veterinary medicine while fostering compassionate, ethical care in a welcoming environment.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of 8 DVMs and a great tenured support team. Veterinarians work collaboratively with experienced technicians, assistants, and client service representatives in a supportive environment that values teamwork, communication, professional development, and exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
