Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role involves working with cats and dogs in a modern small animal practice, delivering both general practice and urgent care within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes a combination of wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, and urgent care responsibilities within an appointment-driven setting. Daily duties involve managing medical cases, providing preventative care, and supporting urgent care needs, with optional opportunities to perform routine surgical procedures. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only and is suited to someone with strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and confidence working in a busy environment alongside a supportive team.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 7:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. It is a full-service facility offering wellness and preventative care, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, dermatology, acupuncture, nutrition, and end-of-life care. The practice is equipped with ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, in-house diagnostics, therapeutic laser, EKG, echocardiogram, cryotherapy, and EZ Vet practice management software. The hospital emphasizes personalized care, advanced diagnostics, and a collaborative culture within a modern, well-equipped setting.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a tenured and experienced support staff, maintaining a strong staff-to-doctor ratio and fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
