Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital in vibrant Brooklyn, NY, hiring for a passionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to help serve the pets and families of this dynamic and diverse community. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a practice that values collaboration, growth, and innovation.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical care to pets, including wellness exams, diagnostics, and surgery. Responsibilities include educating clients on preventive health, treatment plans, and overall pet wellness, collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver exceptional patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and contributing to a positive and inclusive clinic culture. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, and mentorship is available.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
