Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a community-driven, small-animal clinic in Brooklyn, NY, hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital treats small and companion animals and is known for delivering thoughtful, relationship-based medicine with exceptional client service.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position offers full-time or part-time availability, with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for small and companion animals, encouraging medical autonomy while offering mentorship and collaboration when needed. The role emphasizes compassionate, relationship-based veterinary care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
