Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This practice focuses on delivering high-quality care to companion animals in a collaborative environment supported by experienced clinicians and staff.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM and is closed on Sundays. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules, with weekend coverage required on Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups, deliver diagnostic procedures and surgery, and maintain accurate medical records. Responsibilities include client communication and education, prescribing medications, and ensuring compliance with controlled substance protocols. The role also involves collaborating with the Hospital Manager on operational priorities, monitoring cases to maintain high standards of care, participating in daily rounds, and contributing to team efficiency and ongoing training. This opportunity is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a range of services including vaccinations and prevention, wellness exams, acupuncture, geriatric care, puppy and kitten care, surgical services, emergency and urgent care, dental surgery, spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgery, mass removal, foreign body removal, and wound repair. The practice emphasizes high-quality medicine, strong client relationships, and a collaborative culture supported by a well-trained team.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
