Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service companion animal practice in Killen, Alabama. This well-established clinic has been a trusted part of the community since 1979, offering same-day appointments and walk-in services to ensure accessible, high-quality care for cats and dogs throughout North Alabama.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates a walk-in model with same-day appointments during regular business hours. Specific daily schedules and weekend requirements can be flexible, but the practice emphasizes accessibility and convenience for clients, with flexibility for the clinical team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to experienced veterinarians. Responsibilities include general wellness exams, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and geriatric care. The role requires strong clinical skills, effective client communication, and a proactive, compassionate approach to patient care. The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to contribute to a collaborative team environment while providing high-quality medical services in both scheduled and urgent care situations.

The hospital is fully equipped to provide comprehensive veterinary services under one roof, including preventive care, diagnostics, internal medicine, dental procedures, and surgery. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
