Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats in Kernersville, North Carolina, and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and focuses on delivering high-quality, full-service veterinary medicine, with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, compassionate patient care, and building lasting relationships with pet owners. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care, including routine examinations, preventive medicine, diagnostic investigations, medical treatments, dentistry, and surgical procedures. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and managing illnesses and injuries, developing appropriate treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic results, and performing procedures such as spaying and neutering, abdominal exploratory surgery, mass removal, dental prophylaxis, and dental extractions. The role also involves communicating clinical findings and treatment recommendations, educating pet owners on preventive healthcare, and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Veterinarians will have the clinical autonomy to make appropriate medical decisions while maintaining high standards of patient care and collaborating with the wider veterinary team. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered for this position, with opportunities for continuing education and professional development. The position does not require on-call shifts.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary services, including routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, microchipping, illness and injury management, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, and flea and tick prevention. Clinical facilities are equipped with cloud-based practice management and medical records software, digital radiography, dental radiography, IDEXX diagnostic technology, Butterfly iQ+ handheld ultrasound, Vetology radiograph interpretation AI, VMED Vet-Dop2 Doppler blood pressure monitoring, and VETSCAN IMAGYST. These resources support routine and complex medical and surgical procedures, including ultrasound examinations, dental treatments, and soft tissue surgery. The hospital also benefits from a wider veterinary healthcare network offering paid continuing education, professional development resources, and clinical support. Additional benefits include flexible scheduling, open time off, and no noncompete agreements. Opening hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
