Our client is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital that is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive team. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care to cats and dogs and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused medicine in a welcoming clinical environment. This opportunity is well suited to a veterinarian who values teamwork, professional development, and the ability to practice excellent general medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The position is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, and the practice is happy to discuss flexible scheduling options to suit individual preferences. This structure allows for a balanced workload while maintaining consistent patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide high-quality patient care through thorough physical examinations, accurate diagnosis, and effective treatment planning. Your responsibilities will include managing medical cases, delivering preventative care based on each patient’s signalment, lifestyle, and environment, and building strong relationships with clients. You will work collaboratively with the veterinary support teams to ensure excellent outcomes for patients. This role is open to experienced veterinarians, while new graduates are also encouraged to apply, with mentorship available to support skill development and confidence.

Practice Details
The hospital is supported by quality equipment designed to facilitate efficient and advanced veterinary care. Each location is equipped with ultrasound capabilities, heated hydraulic surgical tables, and digital diagnostic radiography. The practice is further supported by experienced medical field leaders and a skilled paraprofessional team who are encouraged to develop as subject-matter experts in areas such as dentistry, nutrition, and patient care. As a full-service veterinary hospital, the practice offers comprehensive care across all life stages.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
