Job Description
Introduction
A well-established, four-doctor small animal hospital in Kennewick, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and growing team. This AAHA-accredited, Fear Free-focused practice offers a supportive environment with strong mentorship, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to develop their skills within a well-equipped and progressive setting.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 9:00pm with rotating Saturdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with the role structured around nine eight-hour shifts every two weeks, offering variety in scheduling while maintaining a strong focus on work-life balance and no on-call responsibilities.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care across wellness, urgent care, surgery, and dentistry, managing a varied caseload while building strong client relationships, collaborating with colleagues on case discussions, and contributing to a high standard of patient care within a supportive team environment.

This is a well-equipped small animal hospital offering advanced diagnostics and modern facilities, supporting care for dogs, cats, and occasional exotics, within a structured and efficient clinical setting that emphasizes Fear Free handling, high-quality medicine, and strong operational support.
Team
You will be joining a cohesive team of four veterinarians supported by experienced licensed technicians and dedicated support staff, within a collaborative culture that encourages mentorship, shared learning, and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
