Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a progressive small animal hospital based in Kennesaw, GA, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and collaborative team. The hospital sees cats and dogs and offers a wide range of advanced services in a supportive environment that values both professional growth and high-quality patient care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm. It is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time role, though there is flexibility in scheduling to help support work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical and surgical care, with an emphasis on preventive medicine, routine wellness exams, and soft tissue surgery. Additional duties include senior pet care, laser therapy, rehabilitation services, and exercise and mobility support. The position is open to experienced veterinarians who thrive in a collaborative, client-focused setting.

The hospital is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and therapeutic technology, including an underwater treadmill to support rehabilitation and mobility therapy. The facility emphasizes progressive medicine, surgery, and client education, creating a culture that blends clinical excellence with compassionate care. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
