Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal general practice hospital that has been serving its local community since 1980 and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice is dedicated to comprehensive small animal veterinary care, with a strong focus on compassionate medicine, long-term client relationships, and high clinical standards.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the practice closed on Sundays. This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. No after-hours or on-call responsibilities are required.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality small animal general practice medicine, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostic services, surgical procedures, and urgent care cases. The role involves leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, building trusted client relationships, and clearly communicating medical findings and care plans. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an environment that supports clinical growth and confidence at all career stages.
Practice Details
The practice provides a full spectrum of small animal medical services focused on maintaining and improving patient quality of life. Services include wellness and prevention, advanced testing and diagnostics, comprehensive surgical procedures, and urgent care. Team
The team consists of three DVMs supported by a strong and dedicated support staff. The working environment is collaborative and supportive, encouraging teamwork, mentorship, and a positive hospital culture where veterinarians are empowered to do their best work.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
