Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and offers an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking to practise high-quality medicine in a supportive environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves providing the full scope of general practice veterinary care for cats and dogs, including consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, preventative care, and client education. The hospital also sees urgent care cases, offering a varied caseload alongside routine appointments. The role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the practice is closed at weekends, supporting an excellent work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped to support the delivery of a full scope of GP services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside urgent care. The practice follows FearFree techniques to help create a low-stress experience for patients and clients alike. The hospital is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Fridays, remaining closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will be supported by a great team of support staff, creating an environment where collaboration and high-quality patient care are prioritised.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
