Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal and exotics hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian or Medical Director to join their long-standing clinical team. This practice has delivered full-service veterinary care to companion animals and small exotic mammals throughout Johns Creek for more than 20 years, earning a strong reputation for high-quality, reliable medicine. They currently see cats, dogs, and small exotic mammals and offer the opportunity to work within a supported, well-equipped environment. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about excellent medicine and is eager to contribute to a collaborative, experienced team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Sundays closed. The schedule can accommodate either an Associate Veterinarian or a Medical Director, and full-time coverage is preferred within these operating hours. There are no after-hours requirements, allowing for a balanced and predictable work routine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves delivering comprehensive clinical care including wellness services, internal medicine, dental care, routine examinations, surgery, diagnostics, and care of exotic mammals. The Medical Director option includes additional leadership responsibilities such as mentoring associate veterinarians, guiding medical standards, supporting team communication, overseeing compliance, participating in financial planning, and helping identify new service opportunities. The Medical Director continues to practice clinically while also shaping the overall medical quality and culture of the hospital. The Associate Veterinarian role focuses on high-quality patient care within the full range of services offered. Both positions require a veterinarian who is committed to collaborative teamwork, strong communication, and maintaining excellent medical standards.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
