Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service mixed animal hospital seeking a General Practice Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This practice cares for cats, dogs, and farm animals in Jesup, Georgia, offering a diverse caseload and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of both household pets and large animals.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with no weekend hours required. The schedule is flexible, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities without after-hours or on-call responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, senior pet care, and cold laser therapy. The hospital also offers equine and farm animal services, both ambulatory and in-house, and there is an opportunity to expand into exotic care if desired. They can provide ample support for associates looking to develop their skills or focus on special interests.

Practice Details
The hospital features a state-of-the-art, 11,000 sq. ft. facility with eight exam rooms, a well-equipped surgical and dental suite, digital radiography including dental, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and cold laser therapy. The team also supports the local community by participating in 4-H events and rodeos, and the culture is highly collaborative with regular staff meetings, team-building events, and educational lunch-and-learns.

Team
The practice currently has a team of five veterinarians supported by experienced medical staff with a 1 to 2.5 doctor-to-staff ratio. The environment is supportive, progressive, and welcoming, with a strong focus on teamwork, mentorship, and client education.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
