Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for a diverse range of species, including cats, dogs, exotics, pocket pets, equine, and livestock, offering an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian interested in a varied caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine wellness care, diagnostics, treatment planning, and medical case management. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, with doctor hours open to discussion. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, making this a supportive opportunity for those at different stages of their career.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with advanced care tools, including in-hospital x-ray capabilities, ultrasonography, and dental radiology. Surgical procedures are performed in a dedicated in-hospital surgery suite, while complex cases benefit from a closely supervised hospitalization area, including a separate quarantine space when needed. This investment in equipment, alongside a well-stocked pharmacy, allows the team to manage a wide range of wellness, urgent care, and advanced medical cases entirely in-house. The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including orthopedics and urgent care, within an exceptional facility featuring advanced diagnostic capabilities. Since 2019, the practice has built a strong reputation in pet healthcare, reflected in its excellent 4.8-star Google rating.

Team
The team consists of four dedicated veterinarians supported by a great team of well-trained support staff, fostering a collaborative and effective working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
