Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats, dogs, exotics, avians, and reptiles, offering a combination of general practice and urgent care services. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical and surgical care while working alongside a skilled and supportive veterinary team. The role includes managing a varied caseload of general practice, urgent care, and emergency cases, performing routine and specialty surgical procedures, and delivering exceptional client communication. The successful candidate will enjoy building lasting client relationships, prioritise quality medicine and patient care, foster teamwork and collaboration, and bring empathy and compassion to every interaction. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The practice is equipped with modern technology including ultrasound, digital radiology, dental radiology, and an in-house laboratory, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Services include wellness and preventative care, wellness plans, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, specialty surgery, spay and neuter procedures, diagnostics, exotic pet care, pain management, emergency care, endoscopy, gastropexy, and laparoscopic surgery. The practice offers same-day appointments and walk-in services, creating a varied and rewarding caseload while fostering strong mentorship and case collaboration across eight Northeast Florida hospitals.

Team
You will join a team of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The practice promotes a collaborative culture where teamwork, mentorship, and professional development are highly valued, providing an environment where veterinarians are supported in delivering outstanding patient care while continuing to grow their clinical skills and careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
