Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including wellness, advanced diagnostics, surgery, urgent services, boarding, and grooming. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, offering the chance to practice high-quality medicine within a trusted and community-focused environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality medical care while managing cases from diagnosis through treatment. Responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, advanced diagnostics, surgical procedures, and urgent care cases. The role emphasizes strong client communication, collaboration with hospital leadership and team members, and maintaining high medical standards. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital offers comprehensive small animal services including Wellness & Prevention, Testing & Diagnostics, Advanced Care, Surgical Procedures, Urgent Care, Pet Boarding, and Pet Grooming. The practice is currently undergoing hospital renovations, reflecting continued investment in improved facilities and patient care. Access to internal specialty consultations and professional development resources supports ongoing clinical growth and excellence.

The hospital is supported by 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative environment where mentorship, teamwork, and professional development are highly valued.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
