Our client is a hospital hiring a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice. This full-service companion animal hospital is committed to providing high-quality veterinary care with a strong focus on preventive medicine and early disease detection. The practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian who values collaboration, flexibility, and work-life balance while working in a supportive environment designed to help clinicians thrive.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care, including wellness and vaccination programs, preventive services, medical services, surgical procedures, health screening tests, nutritional counseling, breeding services, and emergency services. The role offers autonomy in appointment scheduling and surgery times, while also providing opportunities for mentorship through surgery days with the Medical Director and weekly case rounds. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian seeking a collaborative practice environment with a strong emphasis on professional support and clinical excellence.

Practice Details
This full-service companion animal hospital focuses on preventive care and early disease detection while offering a broad range of medical and surgical services. The practice features a recently expanded facility and a collaborative, feedback-driven culture. Equipment and resources include ultrasound, dental and digital radiology, an in-house IDEXX laboratory, surgical monitoring and support, and Impromed Infinity practice management software. Additional services include wellness and vaccination programs, preventive services, medical services, surgical services, anesthesia and patient monitoring, health screening tests, nutritional counseling, breeding services, boarding services, pet supplies, and emergency services. The hospital promotes a lifestyle-focused culture with no emergency or on-call responsibilities and offers flexible scheduling. Hospital hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Team
The practice currently has 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is highly collaborative and mentorship-focused, with regular case rounds and hands-on surgical mentorship opportunities available through the Medical Director.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
