Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital combines general practice medicine with access to a broad range of specialty services, creating an environment where veterinarians can manage cases from initial presentation through advanced treatment when needed. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking a collaborative and supportive workplace.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, building lasting relationships with clients and supporting pets throughout every stage of life. Responsibilities include wellness care, diagnostics, treatment planning, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, hospitalization, emergency care, pain management, and preventative medicine. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with specialty departments including surgery, oncology, internal medicine, radiology, and behaviour, providing continuity of care and visibility into complex cases. You will collaborate with a large support team while maintaining high standards of patient care and client communication. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This small animal hospital operates within a 16,000-square-foot facility and provides both primary and advanced veterinary care. Equipment and facilities include ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, therapeutic laser, CT, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, an isolation ward, and hospitalization facilities with 24-hour patient care. The practice is a Cat Friendly Practice and offers a wide range of services including advanced care, bone and joint surgery, chemotherapy, cold laser therapy, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, allergy management, anesthesia, dental care, dental radiography, emergency care, full diagnostics, general surgery, geriatric medicine, health examinations, hospice care, hospitalization, internal medicine, oxygen and transfusion therapy, pain management, periodontics, radiology, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, and urology. The hospital is open seven days a week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. General practice schedules do not require overnight doctor shifts. The culture is highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, case continuity, and access to advanced medical resources.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 17 veterinarians and a large support team that includes more than 30 licensed technicians and assistants. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with veterinarians supporting one another and working closely alongside experienced support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
