Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital located in Irving, TX, providing comprehensive veterinary, boarding, and grooming services for dogs and cats since 1997. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the clinic closed on Sundays. The doctor schedule is open to discussion, and both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome to apply.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice position where the veterinarian will provide comprehensive care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, and dental procedures. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped and offers full-service general practice care, including puppy and kitten vaccinations, routine check-ups, diagnostic imaging, surgical procedures, bloodwork, dental care, and more. The facility features separate canine and feline exam rooms to provide a comfortable experience for all patients.

Team
The hospital currently has one DVM supported by a well-staffed team, maintaining a 2:1 technician-to-veterinarian ratio to ensure quality patient care and strong clinical support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
