Introduction
Our client is a well-established, fast-paced small animal hospital located just outside Indianapolis, currently hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides care exclusively for dogs and cats and offers a supportive environment with future ownership opportunities. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The position is offered on a full-time basis, and no after-hours or weekend work is required.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver high-quality general medicine and surgery while working closely with clients and the broader healthcare team. Clinical responsibilities include preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care, and laser therapy. This role welcomes both experienced candidates and new graduates who are seeking a mentorship-driven environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiology, in-house CBC, chemistry, urinalysis capabilities, laser therapy, surgical equipment, and oxygen therapy. Services offered include anesthesia and monitoring, in-house diagnostics, dental care, wellness exams, preventive services, senior pet care, vaccinations, nutritional counseling, microchipping, and general medical and surgical services. The facility supports efficient diagnostics and timely treatment with access to external reference laboratories when needed.

The hospital is home to two DVMs supported by a capable and efficient team. The work environment is collaborative, welcoming, and career-focused, offering strong mentorship for new graduates and long-term growth opportunities for all team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
