Introduction
Our client is a general practice veterinary hospital seeking a Veterinarian to join its growing team on a full-time or part-time basis. The practice primarily cares for cats and dogs, with occasional pocket pet and urgent care cases. The hospital is expanding into a new 4,500-square-foot facility, providing an opportunity for either a new graduate or experienced veterinarian to join the team as it moves into its new space.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide general practice care for patients, with access to a broad range of services including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, dermatology, urgent care, and surgical care. A surgical suite is available for doctors who wish to perform procedures, although surgery is not required. Veterinarians have clinical autonomy and are able to develop their individual areas of interest, with specialized continuing education available in areas including dentistry, acupuncture, and cardiology. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome, with individualized mentorship available to support professional and clinical development.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The practice is moving into a brand-new 4,500-square-foot hospital featuring six examination rooms, a surgical suite, dedicated doctor office space, and a dedicated training area for hands-on learning. Technology and equipment include ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy, a full in-house laboratory, and AI scribe services. Services include dog and cat care, puppy and kitten care, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, dermatology, digital radiography, emergency and urgent care, end-of-life care, health certificates, laboratory testing, laser therapy, microchipping, nutritional counselling, parasite prevention, pharmacy services, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, and other surgical services. Shared medical records are available across a wider network of clinics and an emergency hospital to support continuity of care.

Team
Veterinarians are supported by approximately three to four experienced support staff per DVM, allowing doctors to focus on patient care. The hospital places a strong emphasis on teamwork, open collaboration, mentorship, continued learning, and maintaining a positive working environment. Veterinarians also have access to collaboration with more than 25 doctors working across multiple hospitals. The move into the larger facility will give the incoming veterinarian an opportunity to contribute to the culture and workflows of the new hospital.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
