Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join a cohesive and long-tenured team. This is a general practice clinic that offers a blend of GP and ER-style medicine, supported by strong community relationships and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. A flexible part-time schedule consists of two to three shifts per week. Additional hours listed include Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. This is a part-time role.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes providing high-quality medical care across primary care, preventive care, wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, pain management, and internal medicine concerns. Responsibilities also include allergy and dermatology support, health exams, hospitalization, radiology, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, and offering new puppy and kitten care packages. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The clinic is equipped with a dedicated dental suite and dental radiology, as well as an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, radiology, an isolation ward, and an in-office surgical suite. Facilities support full diagnostics, general surgery, geriatric medicine, euthanasia services, hospitalization, weight management programs, and comprehensive preventive medicine. The culture emphasizes a team-based approach, high-quality care, community involvement, and strong collaboration with local animal welfare organizations.

Team
The team includes three DVMs supported by a strong and experienced support staff who work cohesively to ensure consistent, high-level patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
