Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Indianapolis that has been serving its community for over 25 years. The clinic is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join its established team. Providing care for dogs and cats, the hospital is known for its commitment to preventative medicine, client education, and compassionate care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The role is offered on a full-time basis and offers a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care, while also fostering strong relationships with clients through effective communication and education. Duties include physical examinations, diagnostics, surgeries, dentistry, maintaining medical records, and mentoring the paraprofessional team. The position is open to experienced veterinarians, and proficiency in surgery is considered a plus.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical technology, including radiology, ultrasound (via third-party), tonometry, anesthesia monitoring equipment, laser surgical tools, and dental surgery capabilities. Services provided range from wellness exams, preventative care, and microchipping to acupuncture, advanced diagnostics, mass removal, and end-of-life care. The clinic fosters a collaborative, team-focused environment that prioritizes quality care and professional development.

Team
The hospital is staffed by three DVMs and a well-trained, supportive healthcare team. The culture is centered on teamwork, shared mission, and mutual support, offering a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
