Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The successful candidate can work all shifts at one location or choose a more flexible schedule across this hospital and their sister hospital. Caring for companion animals and exotics, the hospital has been a trusted name in the Kansas City metro and offers an excellent opportunity for veterinarians looking to work in a supportive general practice environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and client education. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with doctor hours available for discussion. There are no on-call or after-hours responsibilities, helping to support a healthy work-life balance.
Practice Details
The hospital provides the full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and laser therapy for companion animals and exotics. It is equipped with digital and dental radiography, in-house laboratories, ultrasound, and a CO2 laser to support a wide range of medical and surgical procedures. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, remaining closed on Sundays.
Team
The veterinary team consists of four DVMs supported by a great team of support staff, creating an environment where collaboration helps deliver high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
