Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care to both companion and large animals and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team. The clinic delivers a wide range of services supporting pets, livestock, and equine patients within a community-focused environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday and Tuesday from 7:30am to 7:00pm, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, and Thursday from 7:30am to 7:00pm, with the hospital closed on weekends. The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility, with no after-hours requirements specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a broad range of clinical services including wellness care, surgery, orthopedics, dental care, and medical case management. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, delivering preventive care, and supporting both companion and large animal patients. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a long-established hospital serving the local community since 1980, offering a diverse caseload across small and large animals. Services include allergy and skin treatments, behavior and nutritional counseling, spay and neuter, orthopedic and general surgery, cancer care and chemotherapy, dental care, end-of-life care, vaccinations and wellness care, and emergency care. The practice also provides large animal services including preventive health exams, vaccinations, surgery, nutritional counseling, and hoof and dental care, supporting livestock and equine patients.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
