Job Description

Introduction
A well-established small animal hospital in Hurricane, Utah is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative three-doctor team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a community-focused environment that values mentorship, clinical autonomy, and long-term professional growth.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates extended hours with a varied schedule including 8:00am to 9:00pm on Mondays and Fridays, 8:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays, offering a flexible rota with a mix of longer and standard shifts to support both patient access and work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and case management, while building strong client relationships and collaborating closely with the veterinary team, with the opportunity to pursue individual clinical interests such as surgery, dentistry, or orthopedics.

Practice Details
This modern general practice offers a broad range of services supported by in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiography, ultrasound, a dedicated surgical and dental suite, and laser therapy, with a steady caseload and a culture focused on collaboration, mentorship, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Team
You will join a team of three veterinarians supported by an experienced and well-structured support staff, working in a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork, shared learning, and a strong connection to the local community.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
