Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides high-quality medical care with a focus on advanced services, urgent care, and a strong commitment to patient safety and community trust.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with Sunday closed. The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care from diagnosis through treatment, building strong client relationships, and communicating treatment plans effectively. The role involves providing a range of clinical services including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care, while collaborating with the wider team to maintain high medical standards and support a positive hospital culture.

The hospital is AAHA accredited, reflecting a commitment to high standards of veterinary excellence and patient safety. It offers services including urgent care, microchipping, senior wellness, diagnostic laboratory services, surgery, dental care, wellness exams, vaccinations, and spay and neuter procedures. The clinic also provides access to internal specialty consultations and advanced services such as ophthalmology, supporting the management of complex cases. The practice emphasizes continuous learning, professional development, and a collaborative environment supported by strong workflow systems.
Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
