Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a part-time basis, working exclusively with feline patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, feline-focused practice delivering high-quality, stress-free care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical care for feline patients, including conducting thorough exams, performing diagnostic work-ups, and developing treatment plans. Responsibilities include surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and preventative care, as well as maintaining accurate medical records and prescribing medications in line with protocols. You will communicate effectively with clients, educate them on treatment plans, and collaborate closely with the veterinary and support team. Additional responsibilities include participating in rounds, supporting hospital workflow, and contributing to a culture of teamwork and efficiency. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian with confidence in soft tissue surgery and a passion for feline medicine.

Practice Details
This is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with an on-site diagnostics laboratory, in-house pharmacy, rehabilitation equipment, and advanced imaging capabilities. The hospital is a Gold Certified Feline Friendly practice, with dedicated spaces and trained staff designed to provide a low-stress environment for feline patients. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations and parasite prevention, dental care, surgery, internal medicine, acupuncture, emergency care, and specialized feline hyperthyroid treatment. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a close-knit, collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
