Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs, and they are hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers the opportunity to provide a full scope of general practice care, including wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and the management of a varied caseload. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The practice has been a fixture in the community since 1970 and provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. In addition, the hospital offers acupuncture, rehabilitation, urgent care, and orthopedics. The practice is equipped with digital x-rays, in-house laboratories, an underwater treadmill, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, cold laser therapy, and more to support a broad range of diagnostic and treatment options. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
Team
The hospital is home to a team of four DVMs supported by a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
