Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established hospital that has been part of its community for over 40 years and is looking to hire a full-time Associate Veterinarian. Seeing cats and dogs, the practice has built a loyal clientele and continues to experience steady growth.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers a mixture of general practice and urgent care cases, providing a varied caseload across both preventative and more urgent presentations. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The schedule consists of four 10-hour weekday shifts with rotating weekend coverage.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. It provides a full scope of GP and urgent care services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, alongside reproductive services and orthopedics. The hospital is equipped with in-house laboratories, digital radiology, ultrasound and additional diagnostic equipment. It is AAHA accredited and is committed to using a Fear Free approach where possible.

Team
The team consists of five DVMs supported by a well-trained support staff. The practice has a supportive, collaborative culture that encourages teamwork and provides a positive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
