Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a full-time veterinarian, although part-time options can be discussed for the right candidate. The hospital sees dogs and cats and offers an opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing the full scope of general practice veterinary care. Responsibilities include internal medicine, wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, and other general veterinary services. Flexible scheduling options are available and doctor hours can be discussed to suit individual needs. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house laboratory facilities, and additional modern diagnostic tools. Facilities include dedicated surgical and dental suites as well as an in-house pharmacy. The practice offers the full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. Hospital opening hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hospital provides a varied general practice caseload and maintains a collaborative working culture supported by modern facilities and resources.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
