Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is hiring an Associate Veterinarian. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the chance to work within a well-equipped general practice environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a mix of wellness care, diagnostics, and surgery, managing a varied caseload of canine and feline patients. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable handling general practice responsibilities and delivering high-quality patient care. The position offers a four-day workweek with no weekend requirements, supporting an excellent work-life balance.
Practice Details
This is a beautiful facility equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities. The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on weekends.
Team
The veterinary team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a well-trained support staff team. The practice environment benefits from experienced support personnel who assist in delivering quality patient care and maintaining efficient daily operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
