Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is hiring an Associate Veterinarian. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis for an experienced veterinarian looking to join a general practice setting.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a mix of wellness care, diagnostics, and surgery, delivering high-quality medical care across a varied caseload. The role offers a balanced schedule with a 4-day workweek and no weekend requirements. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident managing appointments, diagnostics, and surgical procedures while maintaining excellent patient and client care standards.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm and is closed on weekends. The beautiful facility is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment to support efficient diagnosis and treatment. The practice provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, allowing veterinarians to work across a diverse general practice caseload.
Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a well-trained support staff team, creating an environment where veterinarians can focus on delivering excellent patient care with strong day-to-day assistance.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
