Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs, with additional caseload opportunities in exotics and large animals. They are hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis and are open to doctors seeking a small animal-only caseload or those interested in working with additional species.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, delivering high-quality care across a varied caseload. The position offers flexibility regarding doctor hours, with schedules open to discussion. Experience is preferred; however, new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.
Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and provides the full scope of GP services. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Team
The team consists of 7 DVMs across two locations, supported by a great team of support staff. The environment is supportive and welcoming to veterinarians seeking mentorship and professional development.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
