Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs, exotics, and large animals, and they are hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital is happy to welcome a doctor focused solely on small animals or someone interested in contributing to the additional species caseload.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, managing a varied caseload and delivering high-quality patient care. Doctor hours are open to discussion. Experience is preferred; however, new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.
Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services and is well equipped to support day-to-day veterinary care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and closed on Sundays.
Team
The team includes 7 DVMs across two locations, supported by a great team of support staff. The environment offers strong support for veterinarians at varying stages of their careers.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
