Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, working with cats and dogs. The position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities alongside urgent care cases. Daily duties will include a mix of routine and more complex cases, offering variety in clinical work. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with flexibility around doctor hours to be discussed.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and is closed on weekends. It is well-equipped and offers a full range of general practice services, including orthopedics, urgent care, pain management, and behavioral therapy. The practice has been a pillar of comprehensive veterinary care since 1985, supporting a diverse caseload within a structured clinical environment.
Team
The team consists of one DVM supported by a group of well-trained support staff, contributing to a collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
