Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This full-service animal hospital provides veterinary care exclusively to cats and dogs and is looking to expand its clinical team with either a full-time or part-time veterinarian.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The practice is closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities. This includes delivering comprehensive veterinary care across routine medical, surgical, and dental cases, as well as urgent care as needed. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology, offering x-rays, ultrasound, and state-of-the-art surgery and dental suites to handle urgent surgical needs. An on-site pharmacy and laboratory provide immediate access to necessary medications and enable basic diagnostic testing. The facilities feature modern, open spaces with bright elements designed to support a fear-free and comforting environment for patients and their families. As a full-service animal hospital, the practice provides routine medical, surgical, and dental care in addition to urgent care services for dogs and cats.
Team
The team consists of one DVM supported by a great team of supportive staff, fostering a collaborative and well-supported working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
