Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is hiring for a part-time Associate Veterinarian position. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule open to discussion within a collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality care across a varied small animal caseload. The role will involve managing routine appointments, preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment planning, while also supporting surgical and medical cases as required. The hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian who is confident working within a GP setting and enjoys collaborating closely with the wider team. Doctor hours are flexible and open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services for cats and dogs and is equipped with an onsite surgical suite, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, IDEXX in-house labs, Vetology AI Radiography, and Butterfly iQ+ Ultrasound technology. The practice operates Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and is closed on Wednesdays. The hospital offers a well-equipped clinical environment designed to support comprehensive patient care across a broad GP caseload.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
