Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Hopewell Junction, New York. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. This two-doctor companion animal practice offers a modern, state-of-the-art facility and is committed to delivering compassionate, preventative-focused veterinary care. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care across a full range of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and client education. Responsibilities include developing preventative healthcare plans, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgical and dental procedures, and working closely with clients to promote lifelong health for their pets. The practice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian who is a strong team player. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This full-service companion animal hospital is equipped with a modern, state-of-the-art facility and focuses on preventative medicine to help patients live longer and healthier lives. Equipment and diagnostic capabilities include in-house digital radiography, ultrasound, blood testing, and microscopic analysis. The practice maintains strong relationships with a mobile board-certified surgeon and cardiologist who regularly provide specialty services. Services offered include wellness care, preventative care, vaccinations, tick disease prevention, heartworm disease prevention, intestinal parasite prevention, senior pet care, dental care, prophylactic dental cleanings, dental disease treatment, extractions, spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgery, cranial cruciate repair, perineal urethrostomy, blood testing, digital radiography, ultrasound, and microscopic diagnostics. The hospital is committed to exceptional client communication, compassionate care, and personalised treatment for every patient. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the practice closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The hospital is staffed by 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative, family-oriented, and supportive, with experienced veterinarians and dedicated team members working together to deliver exceptional patient care while encouraging professional growth and development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
