Introduction
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Kapolei, Hawaii is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. Located on the west side of Oahu, the practice combines high-quality general practice medicine with urgent care opportunities, offering a varied caseload in a modern, well-equipped facility. With two veterinarians currently on staff, a highly leveraged support team, and flexible scheduling options, this is an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and those looking to continue developing their clinical skills while enjoying island life.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care cases. You’ll work closely with an experienced support team to deliver outstanding patient care while building long-term relationships with clients through clear communication and personalised treatment plans. Flexible full-time, part-time, and rotating schedules are available to suit a variety of lifestyles.

Practice Details
This modern AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and a fully integrated electronic medical record system, allowing doctors to provide high-quality, efficient patient care. The practice follows hands-free radiology safety standards and offers an excellent balance of routine general practice alongside urgent care cases, giving veterinarians the opportunity to maintain a diverse and rewarding caseload. The hospital operates seven days a week from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Team
You’ll join a collaborative team of two veterinarians supported by a highly trained nursing and client care team with a strong staff-to-doctor ratio. The practice promotes teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning, creating an environment where doctors are well supported clinically while enjoying plentiful opportunities in surgery, dentistry, and urgent care medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
