Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Honeoye Falls, New York. This well-established small animal practice is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a welcoming, community-focused environment. The hospital offers a collaborative setting where experienced veterinarians can continue to develop their clinical skills while building strong relationships with clients and patients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for small animal patients. Responsibilities include preventative care, new puppy and kitten care, medical services, surgical procedures, dentistry, and client education. The role involves building meaningful relationships with clients and patients while collaborating closely with a supportive veterinary team. Veterinarians are encouraged to continue developing their clinical skills in an environment that promotes learning and professional growth. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital has a loyal client base and places a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine and high-quality patient care. The facility is modern and well-equipped, featuring an advanced dental suite, diagnostic capabilities, and routine access to advanced services such as ultrasound. Services offered include new puppy care, new kitten care, preventative care, dentistry, medical services, and surgical services. The practice performs a range of routine and advanced surgical procedures, with complex cases referred to board-certified veterinary surgeons when additional equipment or specialist expertise is beneficial. The hospital is supported by dedicated and highly trained staff, efficient workflows, 30-minute appointment times, and strong support utilisation, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care. Hospital hours are Monday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented, with dedicated licensed veterinary technicians and assistants helping to create an efficient workflow and supportive atmosphere for both professional development and exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
