Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for companion animals, offering wellness services, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and advanced imaging. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, with surgical and dentistry experience preferred.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position, scheduled for 2 days per week with Saturday rotations. The hospital offers flexibility and will collaborate with the doctor team to create a desired schedule. Hospital hours are Monday 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Tuesday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Thursday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, and Saturday 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload including wellness exams, preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic testing, and urgent care cases. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, performing surgical and dental procedures, interpreting diagnostic imaging, and collaborating closely with the clinical team. The role emphasizes high-quality medicine, teamwork, and client communication. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with surgical and dentistry experience preferred.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital has been serving the community since 1988 and offers General Services including Wellness Exams, Dental Care, Parasite Prevention, Vaccinations, Pet Surgeries, Diagnostic Testing, Advanced Diagnostic Imaging, Spay and Neuter, Dental Radiology, and Microchipping. Additional services include Urgent Care, Nutrition, Behavior & Anxiety Support, Dermatology & Allergy Care, Prescriptions, End-of-Life Support, and Laser Therapy. The hospital fosters a collaborative culture focused on professional growth and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Team
The practice currently has 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where veterinarians are empowered to succeed and grow.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
