Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive companion animal care including vaccinations, routine wellness, parasite prevention, illness and injury management, imaging, surgery, dentistry, and prescription services. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels who are passionate about delivering high-quality medicine in a well-supported and collaborative clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The hospital is closed on Thursday and Sunday.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload, providing preventive care, wellness exams, diagnostics, imaging, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include leading cases from examination and diagnosis through treatment planning and follow-up care, while maintaining strong client communication and medical standards. The role emphasizes collaboration with a skilled paraprofessional team and support from medical field leadership, enabling veterinarians to practice confidently and efficiently. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with ultrasound, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography (DDXR). Services include Vaccinations, Routine Wellness, Flea, Tick & Heartworm Prevention, Illness & Injury Care, Imaging, Surgery, Dentistry, and Prescription Medication management. The practice environment promotes professional development and encourages team members to expand their expertise in areas such as dentistry and nutrition.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
